The MAFELL KSS 80 Ec / 370 is a professional high-performance cross-cutting system designed for demanding carpentry, woodworking, installation, renovation and interior finishing applications. It combines the power of a 2300 W CUprex high-performance motor with an integrated precision guide system, providing fast, accurate and repeatable cuts.
The system provides a maximum cutting depth of 82 mm at 0° with the guide track and a maximum cutting length of 370 mm. At 45°, the cutting depth with the guide track reaches 55.5 mm. Without the guide track, the saw can achieve a cutting depth of up to 88 mm at 0° and 38.5 mm at 60°.
The CUprex motor combines high power and torque with performance-optimised digital electronics and advanced control technology. The speed can be continuously adjusted according to the material and application, allowing the machine to be adapted to different professional cutting tasks.
The integrated FLIPPKEIL plunge-cut system makes plunge cutting considerably easier. The riving knife does not need to be unscrewed or removed, making it possible to create recesses and cut-outs efficiently while maintaining a high level of operating convenience and safety.
The cutting depth can be adjusted and locked with a single quick movement. After the cut has been completed, the saw automatically returns to its starting position. The quick-release mechanism also allows the machine to be detached from the system rail and used as a separate portable circular saw.
The highly graduated angle scale allows precise angle adjustment. Fixed and adjustable stops on the underside of the guide track enable angle cuts from -60° to +50°, while the saw has a tilt range of 0° to 60°.
The rubberised underside of the guide track provides reliable grip on the workpiece and helps protect its surface. The KSS 80 Ec / 370 can also be detached from the system rail and used with a suitable existing MAFELL guide rail.
The system is suitable for solid wood, board materials, insulation materials, doors, worktops and interior finishing and renovation materials.
