MAFELL K 85-18 PURE L-MAX – Professional Cordless Circular Saw

The MAFELL K 85-18 PURE is a professional cordless circular saw designed for demanding woodworking, carpentry, interior fitting and renovation work. Its powerful dual-battery concept uses two 18 V CAS battery packs, delivering a 36 V drive system for high power and independence from the mains. The machine is part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), allowing compatible CAS batteries, machines and chargers to be used across the system.

The K 85-18 combines MAFELL's high-performance CUprex motor technology with the ergonomic ErgoBalanceConcept. The result is a powerful saw that can be guided precisely while reducing physical fatigue during prolonged professional use. The motor speed can be continuously adjusted to suit different materials and applications.

Powerful cordless performance

The K 85-18 is powered by two 18 V CAS LiHD battery packs, providing a nominal 36 V operating system. This gives the saw the power required for demanding longitudinal and cross cuts while maintaining the flexibility of cordless operation. The CAS platform also allows the same battery technology to be used with compatible machines from other CAS system partners.

Up to 88 mm cutting depth

The saw provides a maximum cutting depth of 88 mm at 90°. Even when used with a guide rail, a substantial 82 mm cutting depth is possible. The bevel range extends from 0 to 60°, making the K 85-18 suitable for straight, cross, bevel and rafter cuts.

At 45°, the maximum cutting depth is 61.5 mm, while at 60° it reaches 44.5 mm. The cutting depth can be adjusted and locked with a single operation.

CUprex high-performance motor

The CUprex motor combines high power and torque with performance-optimised digital electronics and advanced control technology. The speed can be continuously adjusted to suit the material and application, helping the operator achieve controlled and efficient cutting.

ErgoBalanceConcept

MAFELL's ErgoBalanceConcept optimises the saw for comfortable and precise handling. The balanced design helps the operator maintain accurate guidance while reducing fatigue during intensive work.

FLIPPKEIL plunge-cut system

The patented FLIPPKEIL system allows plunge cuts without having to remove the riving knife. This improves convenience and makes plunge-cutting applications faster and more practical.

Precise cutting line

The cutting-line indicator automatically adapts to the selected bevel angle. This makes it easier to follow the marked cutting line accurately, even when working at different angles.

LED work lighting

Bright integrated LED lights illuminate a large area around the cutting zone, improving visibility of the work area and helping the operator maintain control during cutting.

Efficient chip ejection

The optimised chip ejection system is particularly useful when cutting insulation materials. It helps keep the cutting area clearer and supports efficient continuous work.
