MAFELL K 85 Ec – Professional 2300 W Circular Saw

The MAFELL K 85 Ec is a high-performance professional circular saw designed for demanding woodworking, carpentry, interior fitting and renovation applications. With its powerful 2300 W CUprex high-performance motor, large cutting capacity and precise adjustment system, the K 85 Ec is built for demanding tasks where power, accuracy and reliability are essential.

The saw combines high torque with excellent ergonomics and precise handling. Its digitally controlled CUprex motor allows the speed to be continuously adjusted according to the material and application, with a no-load speed range of 2250–4400 rpm.

Exceptional cutting depth

With a maximum cutting depth of 88 mm, the K 85 Ec is suitable for cutting thick solid wood, panels and other demanding materials. Even when used with a guide rail, the saw achieves an impressive 82 mm cutting depth.

The bevel adjustment covers 0–60°, allowing the machine to perform straight, cross, bevel and rafter cuts with a high degree of flexibility. At 45°, the cutting depth is up to 61.5 mm, while at 60° it reaches 44.5 mm.

Powerful CUprex motor

The CUprex high-performance motor combines high power and torque with digitally optimised electronics and advanced control technology. The variable speed adjustment allows the saw to be adapted to different materials and applications, providing controlled cutting performance.

FLIPPKEIL plunge-cut system

The patented FLIPPKEIL system makes plunge cutting particularly convenient. The riving knife does not need to be removed before making a plunge cut, improving ease of use while maintaining a high level of operational safety.

Precise cutting line

The cutting indicator automatically follows the selected bevel angle, helping the operator maintain an accurate cutting line regardless of the saw's inclination. The innovative adjustment system also provides excellent visibility of the angle scale.

Efficient chip ejection

The K 85 Ec features optimised chip ejection, particularly when cutting insulation materials. This helps keep the cutting area clear and supports efficient working even in demanding applications.

Guide rail compatibility

The groove in the baseplate allows the use of compatible MAFELL guide systems. This enables the K 85 Ec to be used as a precise guided cross-cutting saw for applications where straight and repeatable cuts are required.
