MAFELL K 55 18M bl Cordless Circular Saw - body

The MAFELL K 55 18M bl is a compact, high-performance cordless circular saw designed for demanding professional woodworking applications. Its 18 V Li-Ion technology combines excellent mobility with the cutting performance and precision expected from a professional MAFELL machine.

With a maximum cutting depth of 58 mm at 90° and 48 mm at 45°, the K 55 18M bl is suitable for a wide range of cross-cutting, rip-cutting, bevel-cutting and plunge-cutting applications. The cutting angle can be continuously adjusted from 0° to 45°.

The saw operates at 2450–5450 rpm, allowing the cutting performance to be adapted to the application and material. With a weight of approximately 4.3 kg, the K 55 18M bl offers a practical balance between portability, stability and cutting performance.

FLIPPKEIL plunge-cut system

One of the key advantages of the K 55 platform is the FLIPPKEIL system. The riving knife does not need to be removed before making a plunge cut. This makes plunge cutting considerably more convenient while maintaining a high level of safety and control.

Excellent visibility and control

The pivoting blade guard can be retracted quickly and conveniently using the lever, making bevel and plunge cuts easier to start. Bright integrated LED lights illuminate a large working area and improve visibility around the cutting line.

An innovative cutting indicator automatically follows the inclination of the saw and therefore accurately indicates the actual cutting edge. This helps the user achieve precise results even when making angled cuts.

Efficient dust and chip extraction

The K 55 18M bl is designed for efficient chip removal. The optimised airflow prevents the vacuum channel from becoming blocked, including when making plunge cuts in the direction of the wood grain. When connected to a suitable MAFELL dust extractor, the working area can be kept cleaner and the cutting line remains easier to see.

Guide rail compatibility

A groove integrated into the baseplate allows the use of compatible MAFELL guide rails. Combined with the appropriate guide rail accessories, the saw can be used for highly accurate guided cutting and cross-cutting applications.

Cordless CAS system

The K 55 18M bl is part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS). CAS enables compatible batteries, battery packs and chargers to be shared across a wide range of professional cordless machines from participating manufacturers.
