MAFELL MS 55 Portable Circular Saw

The MAFELL MS 55 is a professional portable circular saw designed for demanding everyday use in construction, roofing, carpentry and woodworking. Developed specifically for tough working conditions, it combines high cutting performance, exceptional durability and low weight in a compact machine.

With its powerful 1100 W universal motor and high torque, the MS 55 is designed to handle demanding cross and rip cuts with confidence. Despite its robust construction, the saw weighs only 3.3 kg, making it particularly easy to handle during extended professional use.

The saw provides a maximum cutting depth of 55 mm at 90° and 42 mm at 45°. The saw unit can be tilted continuously from 0° to 45°, allowing precise bevel cuts for a wide range of applications.

Important machine components, including the baseplate, are manufactured from high-quality die-cast magnesium. This provides the strength and durability required for demanding construction-site applications while keeping the overall weight low.

The MS 55 is compatible with the MAFELL guide rail system, allowing accurate and repeatable straight cuts. The cutting angle can be precisely adjusted and locked between 0° and 45°. A parallel guide fence is available separately as an accessory.

The saw is particularly suitable for professional work with solid wood, timber, planks and boards, as well as general construction and roofing applications.
