MAFELL MT 55 cc Plunge-Cut Saw, Midi-Max

The MAFELL MT 55 cc is a high-precision professional plunge-cut saw designed for demanding woodworking, interior fitting and installation applications. Its compact construction, powerful CUprex-Compact motor and sophisticated adjustment system provide excellent cutting precision, stability and control.

With a 1400 W motor and continuously variable no-load speed of 3600–6250 rpm, the MT 55 cc delivers ample power across a wide range of materials and applications. The electronic speed control allows the saw to be adapted to different materials and sawblades while maintaining controlled cutting performance.

The saw provides a maximum cutting depth of 57 mm at 0° and 40.5 mm at 45°. The innovative tilting system offers an exceptionally versatile bevel range of -1° to +48°, making the MT 55 cc suitable for standard straight cuts as well as demanding angled and undercut applications.

The millimetre-precise cutting-depth adjustment works both with and without a guide rail. A simple adjustment of the depth pointer ensures that the selected cutting depth is correctly displayed, making setup fast and reliable.

The integrated scoring function is particularly useful when cutting visible surfaces that require exceptionally clean edges. It can be activated in a single movement and helps produce virtually tear-free cuts, even when working with sensitive board materials.

The MT 55 cc is compatible with the MAFELL F guide rail system and can also be accurately adapted to guide rails from other manufacturers thanks to the second guide groove and adjustable guide jaws. This makes the saw particularly versatile for professional workshop and installation work.

The enclosed sawblade guard and slide alongside the cut help minimise dust generation. The MT 55 cc can be connected to conventional dust extractors with a 35 mm hose connection, allowing efficient dust extraction during cutting.

Blade changes are exceptionally quick: pressing the release button and lifting the lever opens the housing for convenient sawblade replacement. When the blade guard is open, the starting lockout and sawblade lock are automatically engaged.
