The MAFELL KSS 50 18 M bl is a professional high-performance cordless cross-cutting system designed for demanding woodworking, interior finishing, installation, renovation and construction applications.
Powered by 18 V LiHD battery technology, the KSS 50 18 M bl combines the precision of a professional MAFELL cutting system with the freedom of cordless operation. The system is particularly well suited to construction sites and installation work where mobility, fast setup and independence from mains power are essential.
With the supplied MAFELL guide track, the system provides a cutting depth of up to 52 mm at 0° and 42 mm at 45°. Without the guide track, the maximum cutting depth increases to 58 mm at 0° and 48 mm at 45°. The maximum cutting length is 407 mm, allowing long cross cuts to be made accurately in one operation.
The patented FLIPPKEIL system makes plunge cutting particularly convenient. The riving knife does not have to be removed, allowing recesses, cut-outs and shadow gaps from 13 mm to be created efficiently and safely.
The KSS 50 18 M bl offers a 0°–45° tilt range and allows precise angle cuts from -60° to +60°. The highly graduated angle scale enables accurate adjustment, while fixed and adjustable stops on the underside of the guide track help achieve repeatable angle cuts.
After completing the cut, the saw automatically returns to its starting position. The machine can also be removed from the cross-cutting track at the press of a button, allowing it to be used independently for applications comparable to the MAFELL K 55 cc. Bright integrated LEDs illuminate a large working area.
The KSS 50 18 M bl is part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), allowing compatible 18 V batteries and chargers to be shared with a wide range of professional cordless tools from participating manufacturers.
