MAFELL NFU 50 groove router

The MAFELL NFU 50 is a professional groove router developed for demanding routing work in timber construction. Its powerful 2300 W CUprex motor provides high power and strong pulling performance for large grooves and recesses in solid wood and board materials. The machine can produce routing widths of up to 60 mm and routing depths of up to 50 mm.

The NFU 50 is designed for a wide range of applications. It is suitable for longitudinal and cross grooves, tenons, fillings in half-timbered structures and inserted ceilings, as well as notch routing up to 45°. With the supplied L guide attachment, individual tenons can be produced efficiently and accurately.

The machine combines robust construction with precise components. A lightweight magnesium die-cast housing and impact-resistant glass-fibre-reinforced plastic components are designed for demanding professional use. The 2-in-1 system allows the routing depth to be adjusted quickly and conveniently.

For dust extraction, the NFU 50 features a pivoting 58 mm extraction connection that can be positioned using a locking mechanism. This is particularly useful when routing produces large quantities of chips. The machine can also be released from the guide rail with a single button press, allowing it to be used either freehand or on the MAFELL F guide rail system.

Safety and controlled operation are supported by a hydraulic brake, which stops the routing tool within approximately three seconds after switching off. A flashing LED indicates that the tool is still rotating. The supplied guide equipment provides a maximum routing length of 370 mm, while the optional MAFELL F guide rails extend the possibilities for precise guided work.
