MAFELL K 85 Circular Saw L-MAX – 2300 W

The MAFELL K 85 Circular Saw in L-MAX is a professional high-performance circular saw designed for demanding woodworking, carpentry, interior fitting and renovation work. With its powerful 2300 W CUprex motor, the K 85 provides the power and torque required for demanding applications while maintaining precise and controlled operation.

The K 85 combines power, precision and ergonomics in a robust professional tool. MAFELL's ErgoBalanceConcept optimises the balance of the saw, making it easier to guide accurately and helping to reduce fatigue during extended periods of work.

CUprex high-performance motor

The CUprex motor combines high power and torque with performance-optimised digital electronics and advanced control technology. The speed can be continuously adjusted to suit different materials and applications, allowing the saw to be adapted to the specific cutting task.

Up to 88 mm cutting depth

The K 85 delivers a maximum cutting depth of 88 mm at 90°. Even when used with a guide rail, it can achieve an impressive cutting depth of up to 82 mm. The bevel range extends from 0 to 60°, making the saw suitable for straight cuts, cross cuts, bevel cuts and rafter cuts.

At 45°, the maximum cutting depth is 61.5 mm, while at 60° it is 44.5 mm. Cutting depth can be set and locked with a single operation.

FLIPPKEIL plunge-cut system

The patented FLIPPKEIL system allows plunge cuts without the need to remove the riving knife. This improves convenience and provides additional safety when performing plunge cuts.

Precise cutting-line indicator

The cutting-line indicator automatically adapts to the selected bevel angle, helping the operator follow the marked cutting line accurately even when making angled cuts.

LED work lighting

Bright integrated LED lights provide broad illumination of the work area and improve visibility around the cutting zone. The lighting system also switches off automatically after a period of inactivity.

Guide rail compatibility

The K 85 can be used with MAFELL guide rails. Its base plate is designed so that, with the appropriate guide system, the circular saw can also be used as a cross-cutting rail saw.

L-MAX transport case

This version is supplied in an L-MAX case, providing a practical solution for storing and transporting the saw and its accessories. The L-MAX case is part of the supplied configuration.
