MAFELL LO 55 router in MAX3

The MAFELL LO 55 router combines professional routing performance with exceptionally practical handling. With a maximum routing depth of 55 mm, an 1100 W motor and variable speed control from 10,000 to 24,000 rpm, it is designed for demanding work in the workshop and on installation sites.

The Ergo-Balance concept keeps the machine optimally balanced for controlled and comfortable operation. The design minimizes vibration and vibration transmission, while the practical handle arrangement supports precise guidance during longer routing operations.

A major advantage is the tool-free router bit change. Release the clamping lever, replace the cutter and fold the lever back into position – the machine is ready for the next operation without additional tools. The permanently clamped Permafix depth adjustment can be released at the press of a button, allowing the routing depth to be set quickly and conveniently. A stepped stop with height clamping supports repeatable working depths and can be additionally clamped for dovetail applications.

The fine-adjustment parallel guide enables precise routing along an edge and is secured directly at the base plate. The integrated dust extraction in the base plate helps collect chips directly where they are produced. Broadly positioned LED lights provide good illumination of the routing area in different working conditions.

The LO 55 is suitable for groove routing, cut-outs, chamfering, hole rows and rebate routing in solid wood and board materials. In combination with the optional LO-FA router adapter and F-LR guide rail, it can also be used for precise hole rows with 32 mm spacing.

The Deboost function provides reduced speed for fast and clean end-grain work. MAFELL IPC digital electronics additionally provide restart protection, overload protection and constant speed under load, while colour LEDs indicate operating functions and machine status.
