MAFELL MKS 185 Ec Timber Saw

The MAFELL MKS 185 Ec is a professional high-performance timber circular saw designed for demanding carpentry, timber construction and general structural woodworking. With its powerful 3000 W CUprex motor and exceptional cutting depth of up to 185 mm, it is built for applications where conventional circular saws reach their limits.

The MKS 185 Ec is particularly suited to cross cuts, rip cuts and bevel cuts up to 60°. It can process solid timber, glulam, insulation materials and sandwich panels, making it a versatile machine for professional timber construction and general framing work.

Powerful 3000 W CUprex motor

The high-performance 3000 W CUprex motor provides the power required for demanding and deep cuts. Electronic motor control includes soft start, constant speed under load, speed reduction and overload protection for controlled operation in demanding applications.

Exceptional 185 mm cutting depth

With a cutting depth of 105–185 mm at 90°, the MKS 185 Ec is designed for particularly thick timber. At 45°, the cutting depth is 74–131 mm, while at 60° it reaches 53–93 mm.

Bevel cuts up to 60°

The saw can be continuously adjusted from 0° to 60°, allowing precise straight and bevel cuts. The large adjustment range is particularly useful in timber construction where complex angled cuts are frequently required.

Constant cutting-line indicator

The constant cutting-line indicator from 0° to 60° helps the user maintain an accurate cutting path even when making bevel cuts. The precise pivot point is positioned on the underside of the base plate.

Easy and precise depth adjustment

The cutting depth is adjusted using a rotary control and a clearly readable scale. This allows fast and repeatable depth settings for professional work.

Professional stop system

The stop system can be used on both sides of the machine and offers a three-function design. This makes positioning and guiding the saw easier during demanding timber work.

Remote-controlled blade guard

The remotely operated pendulum blade guard makes it easier to start cuts, including demanding angled cuts.
