MAFELL MKS 130 Ec Timber Circular Saw

The MAFELL MKS 130 Ec is a professional timber circular saw designed for demanding carpentry, timber construction and structural woodworking applications. With its powerful 2,500 W CUprex high-performance motor, the saw delivers high torque and reliable performance when cutting solid timber, glued laminated timber, insulation materials and sandwich panels.

The MKS 130 Ec combines exceptional cutting capacity with precise control. Its maximum cutting depth reaches 130 mm, while the newly developed bevel system allows the saw to tilt continuously from 0 to 60°. Even at 45°, the saw achieves up to 94 mm cutting depth, while at 60° it still provides up to 65 mm.

CUprex high-performance motor

The CUprex motor combines high power and torque with digital electronics and advanced control technology. The speed can be continuously adjusted according to the material and application, giving the operator greater control and allowing the machine to be adapted to different cutting conditions.

Powerful and controlled cutting

For improved handling and control, the MKS 130 Ec features soft start, constant speed under load, speed reduction and overload protection. This helps maintain consistent cutting performance while protecting the machine during demanding applications.

130 mm cutting depth

The MKS 130 Ec is designed for applications where a standard circular saw is simply not enough. With up to 130 mm cutting depth at 90°, it is particularly suitable for thick timber and demanding structural work.

0–60° bevel adjustment

The saw can be tilted continuously from 0 to 60°. This makes it suitable for standard cross cuts, bevel cuts and demanding carpenter's cuts. At 45°, the maximum cutting depth is 94 mm, while at 60° it remains an impressive 65 mm.

Robust construction

The MKS 130 Ec is built for demanding construction-site conditions. Its lightweight magnesium die-cast housing and impact-resistant glass-fibre-reinforced plastic components provide a robust and durable construction. The enclosed design also minimises the areas where dust and chips can accumulate.

Precise depth adjustment

The cutting depth can be adjusted precisely and easily using the rotary control with a clearly readable scale. This is particularly useful for applications such as notching and overlapping cuts where accurate dimensions are essential.

Pendulum guard pre-retraction

The pendulum guard can be conveniently retracted using the pre-retraction mechanism positioned directly on the front handle. This is especially useful when starting cuts at acute angles, such as birdsmouth and carpenter's cuts.

Clean cutting line

The motor's airflow helps keep the cutting-line indicator free from dust and chips, providing a clear view of the marked cutting line. The saw can also be used with the MAFELL F guide rail system for precise guided cuts.

Safety and convenience

The MKS 130 Ec includes a motor brake, self-closing protective guard and centrally positioned switch lock. A spindle lock allows quick and convenient saw blade changes.
