MAFELL ZSX Ec / 260 HM carpenter's chain saw

The MAFELL ZSX Ec / 260 HM is a powerful professional carpenter's chain saw designed for demanding timber construction and framing applications. With a 3000 W CUprex motor, 260 mm cutting depth and precise chain guidance, it is designed for efficient cross cuts, rip cuts and angled cuts in large wooden components.

The MAFELL special chain and exact chain guidance on the guide rail provide excellent cutting performance. The supplied HM 260 carbide-tipped fine-cut chains are designed for high-quality cuts and are particularly suitable for professional timber construction work.

The saw can be tilted on both sides through -60° to +60°. A selectable locking function makes common angle settings such as 0/90° and 45° on both sides quick and easy to set. The clearly readable scale supports precise adjustment, while the double swivel guide enables accurate angled cuts.

The motor cooling air continuously keeps the scribe indicator clear, providing an unobstructed view of the marked cutting line. The generously dimensioned, adjustable chip ejection supports efficient removal of chips during cutting.

The automatic chain lubrication has an adjustable delivery rate, helping to lubricate the chain accurately without unnecessary oil splashes on the timber. The machine is also compatible with the MAFELL guide rail system, allowing controlled and precise guided cuts.

Ergonomics are designed for both right- and left-handed users. The handle and switch arrangement keeps the feed pressure perpendicular to the support surface. The Softgrip handles, integrated switch and switch lock provide comfortable and controlled operation.

The electronically controlled drive offers variable speed, soft start, speed reduction, constant speed under load and overload protection. The supplied parallel fence further expands the machine's possibilities for controlled cuts.

Typical applications include cross and rip cuts, angled cuts up to 60°, general timber framing work and rafter cuts up to 60°. Suitable materials include solid wood, glued laminated timber and insulation materials.
