MAFELL DD40 P PowerMAX DuoDoweler in T-MAX

The MAFELL DD40 P PowerMAX DuoDoweler is a powerful mobile doweling machine designed for fast, precise and repeatable wooden dowel joints. With its 1000 W motor and no-load speed of 13,500 rpm, the DD40 P provides the performance required for professional woodworking, cabinet construction, stair building, workshop production and installation work.

The Duo-Dowel System combines conventional wooden dowels with precise positioning of the machine. This allows workpieces to be aligned accurately during assembly and glued securely. The system can simplify or even eliminate conventional clamping operations, making dowel joint production particularly efficient.

The machine offers a 32 mm drill spacing and a drilling depth of 0–40 mm. Connections with dowel diameters from 5 to 16 mm are possible when using the appropriate MAFELL dowel drills. The six-position turret stop and clearly readable material-thickness scale allow quick setup for different workpiece thicknesses.

For accurate positioning, the DD40 P features a practical stop system with retractable stop pins and additional stops. This makes edge-near drilling possible without first marking the workpiece. Drilling depth, material thickness and the stop angle can be adjusted continuously, while the double-guided swivel stop can be positioned from 0° to 90°.

The PowerMAX package is supplied as a complete working solution. It includes several sizes of wooden dowels, carbide dowel drills, glue accessories, anti-slip mats and a T-MAX transport and storage case. This makes the DD40 P suitable for both stationary workshop use and professional installation work.
