MAFELL FM 1000 PV milling motor for portal machines

The MAFELL FM 1000 PV is a professional milling motor designed for portal milling machines, cutting tables, grinding devices and flexible shafts. With 1000 W of power and continuously adjustable speed from 4,000 to 25,000 rpm, it is suitable for a wide range of machining applications.

The speed can be adjusted manually or continuously via the portal interface. The digital electronics provide soft start, constant speed under load, automatic no-load speed reduction and overload protection for controlled and reliable operation.

The standard 43 mm clamping collar allows easy mounting, while the 8 mm collet and spindle lock make cutter changes quick and convenient. A labyrinth seal protects the spindle and bearings, and precisely balanced components ensure high concentricity and precise results.

The Duo-In system allows speed adjustment both manually and through the portal interface, while the LED status display provides additional operating information. The Rapidfix cable enables fast and easy connection to the portal system.

With a sound pressure level of just 71 dB(A), the FM 1000 PV is particularly quiet. At only 1.65 kg it is compact and light. The motor is suitable for machining wood, metal, plastics, foam, polystyrene and stone.

Typical applications include model making, mould making, advertising technology, engraving, jewellery, electronics and stone processing.

MAFELL milling motors are manufactured in Germany under strict quality controls. Before delivery, each motor is run in on a test bench to support long tool life and service life.
