MAFELL FM 1650 NC-LO milling motor for CNC portal machines

The MAFELL FM 1650 NC-LO is a powerful professional milling motor designed for CNC portal milling machines, cutting tables and flexible shafts. With 1650 W of power and continuously adjustable speed from 4,000 to 23,000 rpm, it is suitable for demanding machining applications.

The speed can be adjusted manually or continuously via the portal interface. The digital electronics provide soft start, constant speed under load, automatic no-load speed reduction and overload protection for controlled and reliable operation.

The motor can be mounted either via the standard 43 mm clamping collar or directly to the portal with six M6 screws. The armature and spindle are manufactured as one piece, and precisely coordinated components ensure the highest concentricity and precise results. A labyrinth seal permanently protects the spindle and bearings against fine particles, dust and chips.

The Duo-In system allows speed adjustment both manually and through the portal interface, while the LED status display provides additional operating information. The spindle lock can be operated with a push button or with a wrench on the spindle flats, making tool changes quick and easy. The included 5 m NC control cable connects the motor directly to the machine control.

The motor is suitable for machining wood, metal, plastics, foam, polystyrene and stone. Typical applications include model making, mould making, advertising technology, engraving, jewellery, electronics and stone processing.

MAFELL milling motors are manufactured in Oberndorf, Germany, under strict quality controls. Before delivery, each motor is run in on a test bench to support long tool life and service life.
