MAFELL FM 1000 NC-WS routing motor for portal milling

The MAFELL FM 1000 NC-WS is a professional routing motor specially designed for portal milling machines, cutting tables, grinding devices and flexible shafts. With 1000 W of power and continuously adjustable speed from 4,000 to 25,000 rpm, it provides flexible performance for a wide range of machining applications.

The motor can be controlled in two ways. The speed can be adjusted manually or continuously via the external portal interface. In NC operation, the motor supports an 8–56 V power supply and external 0–10 V control. An additional LED status display provides clear information about the operating condition and overload.

The tool-less quick-clamping device allows different milling cutters to be inserted quickly and conveniently without additional tools. The double-bearing spindle is designed to absorb axial forces and, together with the precisely coordinated components, provides high running accuracy.

The digital electronics feature soft start, constant speed under load, automatic reduction of no-load speed and overload protection. This ensures controlled operation and stable performance during demanding milling tasks.

The Rapidfix cable enables fast and easy connection to the portal system. With a sound pressure level of just 74 dB(A), the FM 1000 NC-WS is extremely quiet for a professional routing motor.

The motor is suitable for processing wood, metal, plastics, foam, polystyrene and stone. Typical applications include model making, mould making, sign making, engraving, jewellery, electronics and stone processing.

MAFELL routing motors are manufactured in Germany under strict quality controls. Before delivery, each motor is run in on a test bench to support long service life and reliable operation.
