MAFELL NFU 50-18 PURE cordless groove router

The MAFELL NFU 50-18 PURE is a professional cordless groove router designed for demanding routing work in timber construction. Its 2 × 18 V CAS power system combines the capabilities of the NFU 50 with cordless freedom, allowing demanding routing tasks to be carried out without a mains cable.

The NFU 50-18 is a versatile specialist machine for longitudinal and cross grooves, tenons, fillings in timber-frame structures and inserted ceilings, as well as notch routing up to 45°. The supplied L guide attachment makes it possible to produce individual tenons efficiently and accurately. The machine can create routing widths of up to 60 mm and routing depths of up to 50 mm.

The robust construction features a lightweight magnesium die-cast housing and impact-resistant glass-fibre-reinforced plastic components. These components are designed for professional use and demanding working conditions.

The 2-in-1 depth adjustment allows the routing depth to be set quickly and conveniently. The pivoting 58 mm extraction connection can be positioned and locked according to the working situation, making it particularly useful when large quantities of chips are produced.

With a single button press, the NFU 50-18 can be released from the guide rail and used either freehand or with the MAFELL F guide rail system. The supplied L guide attachment provides a maximum routing length of 370 mm, while the F guide rail system enables precise guided routing over longer distances.

The machine is part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), which provides compatibility between machines, battery packs and chargers within the system. The PURE version is supplied without batteries or charger and is therefore suitable for users who already have compatible CAS batteries and charging equipment.
