Smooth starting, constant speed under load, speed reduction, and overload protection facilitate the handling and behavior of the saw. The exemplary design of the MKS 130 Ec incorporates extremely durable and high-quality materials, including a lightweight magnesium housing and impact-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced plastic components. Most surfaces that typically come into contact with dust or chips have been eliminated. The MKS 130 Ec meets all the requirements found in traditional and modern carpentry: cross and longitudinal cuts in wood or insulation materials are easily achievable thanks to the availability of suitable accessories. Nothing has been left to chance when it comes to safety: the MKS 130 Ec features a motor brake and a self-closing saw guard. Among other safety features, the on/off switch includes an integrated start lock button.
