ISOCELL AIRSTOP FLEX 3AFLEX60 is a slightly transparent, flexible and tear-resistant universal adhesive tape for sealing airtight and wind-tight connections in buildings. The tape features a strong acrylic adhesive with excellent ageing resistance and is suitable for use on a wide range of common building substrates.
3AFLEX60 is an AIRSTOP FLEX tape roll with a width of 60 mm and a length of 25 m. The tape has no split release liner and is therefore a universal full-width adhesive tape.
The tape is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. After installation, it can be plastered and painted over, making it suitable for sealing connections and penetrations in airtight building envelopes.

AIRSTOP FLEX adheres to, among others:

The substrate must be dry, clean, free from dust and grease, and sufficiently sound.

Installation
The tape must be installed so that it is in full contact with the substrate across the entire adhesive surface. The stronger the pressure applied during installation, the better the adhesion.
The tape can also be applied onto itself and in crosswise directions. A pressure roller or plastic squeegee can be used during installation.
AIRSTOP FLEX is suitable for installation at temperatures from approximately –5 °C. At low temperatures, condensation on the substrate must be avoided, as moisture can reduce adhesion.
Depending on the temperature, full adhesive bonding is achieved within approximately 6–24 hours.
Can be plastered and painted
AIRSTOP FLEX 3AFLEX60 can be plastered and painted over after installation. This makes it suitable for applications where the airtight layer will subsequently be covered by a finishing layer.
Important
AIRSTOP FLEX tape is designed for airtight and wind-tight sealing, not for mechanically joining building components. Vapour control layers and other membranes must be mechanically secured where required.
