MAFELL Arunda 50B Midi milling templates for dovetail joints

MAFELL Arunda is a system for the manual production of wood-to-wood dovetail joints for carpenters and woodworking professionals. It allows straight or angled connections on load-bearing beams and rafters – both in the workshop and on the construction site.

The Arunda 50B Midi set contains a template pair – one template for the tenon and one for the housing – in a sturdy wooden box. It is designed for tenon widths of 50–100 mm and timber heights of 90–330 mm, covering cross-sections from 40 × 90 mm to 100 × 330 mm. The B series features fixed 90° stops, and the joints can bear loads of up to 2,100 kg.

The double-cone joint is self-clamping and provides an optimal fit. Since the same router setting is used for producing both the tenon and the housing, work is fast and accurate. Assembly from above is very easy – the beams do not need to be moved apart.

For use, a MAFELL LO 65 Ec router equipped with the Arunda special cutter and accessories is required. The Midi set is a good choice if you already have the cutter and accessories.

Note: the router, Arunda dovetail cutter, copy ring and other accessories are not included and must be purchased separately.
