MAFELL A 18 cordless drill/driver in T-MAX

The MAFELL A 18 cordless drill/driver is a robust and powerful professional cordless tool for demanding drilling, screwdriving and construction-site applications. The 18 V drive combines high torque with a compact design, making the A 18 suitable for both powerful drilling and controlled fastening work.

The A 18 delivers up to 130 Nm of hard torque and 65 Nm of soft torque. Its two-speed gearbox provides 0–560 rpm in first gear and 0–1,960 rpm in second gear, allowing the machine to be adapted to different materials, drill sizes and fastening tasks.

For particularly demanding applications, the impulse function provides additional support. It is especially useful for loosening seized screws and for starting holes on smooth surfaces. The electronic anti-kickback function actively switches off the motor in a sudden blocking situation, helping protect the user's wrist against unexpected rotational movement.

The A 18 can drill holes up to 68 mm in wood and up to 13 mm in steel. The 13 mm quick-change chuck provides a broad range of applications, while the spindle also features a direct 1/4" bit holder for bits and quick-change accessories.

Four magnetic bit holders integrated on both sides of the battery mount keep frequently used bits close at hand. Bright LED lights with afterglow provide broad, shadow-free illumination of the work area. Two integrated spirit levels help control the 90° position during horizontal and vertical drilling and screwdriving.

The 43 mm clamping neck is compatible with all MAFELL BST drilling stations, further expanding the A 18's range of professional applications. The machine is part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS), allowing compatibility with the corresponding CAS battery and charging system.

The supplied set includes both a PowerTank 18 M 72 LiHD and a PowerTank 18 M 99 LiHD, together with the APS M PowerStation and T-MAX transport and storage case. The processor-controlled battery technology continuously monitors relevant cell parameters such as charge level and temperature.
