MAFELL MKS 145 Ec Timber Saw

The MAFELL MKS 145 Ec is a professional timber circular saw designed for demanding carpentry, timber construction and general structural woodworking applications. With its powerful 2600 W motor and maximum cutting depth of 145 mm, the saw is designed for working with thick solid timber, glulam and insulation materials.

The MKS 145 Ec combines a high cutting capacity with excellent handling. Its cutting depth can be adjusted precisely using a rotary control with an easy-to-read scale, making it possible to set the required depth quickly without repeated measuring.

Powerful performance

The 2600 W universal motor provides the power required for demanding timber applications. The electronic control system includes soft start, constant speed under load, speed reduction and overload protection, helping maintain controlled and consistent cutting performance.

Up to 145 mm cutting depth

With a cutting depth range of 65–145 mm, the MKS 145 Ec is designed for applications where a conventional circular saw does not provide sufficient capacity. At 45°, the cutting depth ranges from 46 to 102.5 mm, while at 60° it ranges from 32 to 72.5 mm.

0–60° bevel adjustment

The saw can be continuously tilted from 0 to 60°, making it suitable for standard cross cuts, rip cuts and demanding bevel cuts. The wide bevel range is particularly useful for professional timber construction and carpentry work.

Constant cutting-line indicator

The MKS 145 Ec features a constant cutting-line indicator for 0–60°. Its precise pivot point is located underneath the base plate, helping maintain a reliable reference line even when the saw is tilted.

Precise depth adjustment

The required cutting depth can be set using the rotary adjustment wheel and clearly readable scale. This makes repeated cuts and dimensionally accurate carpentry work easier and more efficient.

Robust yet lightweight construction

The MKS 145 Ec uses modern magnesium die-cast alloys to achieve a strong combination of stability and manageable weight. The machine weighs 13.8 kg, making it suitable for demanding professional use while remaining practical to handle.

Remote-controlled lower guard

The lower protective guard can be conveniently operated remotely, making it easier to expose the saw blade when starting cuts at acute angles. This is especially useful for specialised timber construction and carpentry cuts.

Tool brake

A tool brake helps stop the saw blade quickly after the machine is switched off, providing an additional safety feature for professional applications.

Adjustable extraction connection

The adjustable dust extraction connection makes it easier to adapt the saw to the working environment and supports cleaner operation when connected to a suitable extraction system.
