The MAFELL KSP 40 Flexistem is a compact and versatile professional sawing system designed for joiners, carpenters, interior fitters and demanding renovation work. It combines the robust KSP 40 portable circular saw with the innovative Flexi-Guide FX 140, creating a highly mobile system for precise cutting directly on site.
The KSP 40 Flexistem is designed as a multifunctional sawing solution. It can be used as a conventional portable circular saw, as a guide-rail saw, as a plunge-cut saw and as a shadow-gap saw. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of professional applications without the need to carry several separate machines.
The powerful 900 W universal motor delivers a no-load speed of 8400 rpm, while the compact machine weighs only 2.2 kg. The saw can cut up to 42 mm without the guide rail, up to 40 mm on the rail and up to 29 mm at 45° when used with the rail. The saw unit can be tilted continuously from 0° to 45°.
One of the defining features of the system is the Flexi-Guide FX 140. The special steel guide rail has an effective length of 1400 mm and can be rolled up for compact storage and transport. The guide rail allows precise, controlled cuts while taking up very little space when transported.
The KSP 40 Flexistem is particularly useful for cutting panels to size, shortening doors, making shadow gaps and performing plunge cuts. Shadow gaps can be created from just 13 mm, making the system especially practical for interior finishing and renovation work.
The special pivoting guard design allows the saw to be used for plunge cuts and guide-rail applications. The pivot point is positioned alongside the guide rail, allowing the same marking pointer to be used regardless of the cutting angle and whether the saw is being used with or without the rail.
The complete system is supplied in a space-saving T-MAX case, keeping the saw and its main accessories organised and easy to transport between workshops and job sites.
