MAFELL KSS 40 18M bl Cordless Cross-Cutting System

The MAFELL KSS 40 18M bl is a professional cordless cross-cutting system designed for demanding installation, interior finishing and woodworking applications. It combines the precision of MAFELL's proven KSS technology with the freedom and mobility of modern 18 V battery power.

This complete T-MAX version is supplied with two 18 V 99 Wh LiHD batteries, an APS M charger, Flexi-Guide FX 140 and two clamping claws, providing a comprehensive solution for professional on-site work.

The compact brushless motor is highly efficient, durable and maintenance-free. With a no-load speed of 6,700 rpm, the KSS 40 18M bl delivers powerful and controlled cutting performance across a wide range of professional applications.

Versatile 5-in-1 cutting system

The KSS 40 18M bl can be used as a complete cross-cutting system, plunge-cut saw, shadow-gap saw or portable circular saw. The saw can be quickly detached from the guide rail and used independently as a portable circular saw with MAFELL K-series functionality.

It is suitable for:

• cross-cuts with guide rail;
• rip cuts and cross-cutting;
• plunge cuts and recesses;
• shadow-gap and expansion-joint cuts from 13 mm;
• mitre and bevel cuts up to 45°.

The system is suitable for board materials, doors, worktops, parquet, laminate flooring and solid wood.

Precise cutting performance

With the guide rail, the KSS 40 18M bl provides a cutting depth of up to 40 mm at 0° and 27 mm at 45°. Without the guide rail, the maximum cutting depth is 42 mm. The maximum cutting length is 300 mm.

The adjustable guide system enables precise angle cuts. The tilt range is 0–45°, while angle cuts can be made from -60° to +45°.

Flexi-Guide FX 140

The included Flexi-Guide FX 140 extends the system's capabilities for longer guided cuts. The 1.4 m roll-up guide allows precise guided cuts while remaining compact and easy to transport.

The KSS 40 18M bl T-MAX set is supplied with everything required for flexible cordless cutting on site. The T-MAX transport and storage case keeps the machine, batteries and accessories organised and protected.

CAS battery system

The KSS 40 18M bl is part of the Cordless Alliance System (CAS). Compatible 18 V batteries and chargers can be shared with a wide range of professional cordless tools from participating manufacturers.
