Product description

The MAFELL KSS 300 MaxiMAX is a compact, high-performance professional cross-cutting system developed for demanding woodworking, interior finishing and installation applications. It combines a powerful portable circular saw with the KSS 300 guide system and an additional 1.4 m Flexi-Guide FX 140, providing a versatile solution for accurate cutting directly on the job site.

With its 900 W motor, 8,800 rpm no-load speed and maximum cutting depth of 42 mm without the guide rail, the KSS 300 delivers the performance required for professional work while remaining exceptionally compact and lightweight. With the guide track installed, the maximum cutting depth is 40 mm at 0° and 27 mm at 45°.

The saw can be quickly detached from the KSS rail and used as a separate portable circular saw. This makes the system suitable for both guided precision work and conventional freehand cutting.

Precise cross-cutting and mitre cuts

The KSS 300 is designed around precision and ease of handling. When the portable circular saw is attached to the KSS rail, it becomes a highly practical single-handed cross-cutting system for bevel and mitre cuts.

The intelligent stop and adjustable fence with large scale increments make accurate angle settings quick and repeatable. The cutting angle range extends from -60° to +60°, while the saw's tilt range is 0–45°.

1.4 m Flexi-Guide included

The Flexi-Guide FX 140, included as standard with the MaxiMAX version, provides additional guidance for longer cuts up to 1.4 metres. Two clamping claws are also included for securely fixing the Flexi-Guide to the workpiece.

The roll-up design makes the Flexi-Guide easy to transport and store, while providing precise guidance where a conventional short guide rail is not sufficient.

Compact and lightweight design

Despite its professional performance, the KSS 300 remains highly portable. Magnesium die-cast components help reduce weight, with the saw itself weighing approximately 2.4 kg without the guide rail. The complete system weighs approximately 3.0 kg with the guide rail.

Everything is stored in the space-saving T-MAX transport and storage case, making the KSS 300 MaxiMAX particularly convenient for mobile professional use.

Versatile 5-in-1 cutting system

The KSS 300 can be used as:

• a plunge-cut saw;
• a shadow-gap saw;
• a portable circular saw with or without the guide rail.

It is suitable for board materials, doors, worktops, parquet, laminate flooring and cladding. Shadow-gap and expansion-joint cuts can be made from 13 mm.
