The saw speed varies continuously according to the material properties and application. Smooth start-up, constant speed under load, speed reduction, and overload protection make saw handling and behavior easier. The exemplary design of the MKS 130 Ec model includes extremely durable and high-quality materials, including a lightweight magnesium housing and impact-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced plastic components. Most surfaces that typically come into contact with dust or chips have been eliminated. The MKS 130 Ec meets all the requirements of traditional and modern carpentry: cross and longitudinal cuts in wood or insulation materials are easily achievable thanks to the available accessories. Safety is not left to chance: the MKS 130 Ec has a motor brake and a self-closing saw guard. Among other safety features, there is an integrated start-up lockout button on the on/off switch.
