The new carpenter's chainsaw ZSX-TWIN Ec is a very practical tool for large timber materials. MAFELL has taken the chainsaw to a new level by developing a dual-motor machine that can perform very complex and otherwise labor-intensive tasks quickly and easily. With a rated power of 3000 W, a single CUprex motor already tests the performance limits of a standard 230 V power source. Two simultaneously operating CUprex motors would overload a regular electrical system. By splitting the load between two circuits, the dual-motor ZSX provides all the necessary power. A three-phase electrical system is the ideal solution, as the phases have separate fuses, ensuring that the power system is not overloaded.
