MAFELL FM 1000 routing motor – 1000 W

The MAFELL FM 1000 is a professional routing motor designed for precise and versatile milling applications. With 1000 W of power and continuously adjustable speed from 4,000 to 25,000 rpm, it can be adapted to a wide range of materials and machining tasks.

The FM 1000 is suitable for wood, metal, plastics, foam, Styrofoam and stone. Typical applications include model making, mould making, sign making, engraving, jewellery, electronics and stone processing. The routing motor is also ideally suited for portal milling machines, cutting tables, grinding devices and flexible shafts.

Digital electronics provide a soft start, constant speed under load, automatic reduction of no-load speed and overload protection. This supports controlled operation and consistent performance during demanding applications.

The precisely coordinated components and the armature and spindle manufactured and balanced as a single unit provide excellent running accuracy. A labyrinth seal protects the spindle and bearings against fine particles, dust and chips.

The FM 1000 is extremely quiet, with a sound pressure level of just 74 dB(A). The integrated spindle lock can be activated at the push of a button, making tool changes quick and convenient.

MAFELL manufactures its routing motors in Germany under strict quality controls. Each motor is run in on a test bench before delivery, supporting long service life and reliability.
