MAFELL KF 1000 edge router in T-MAX

The MAFELL KF 1000 is a compact professional edge router designed for flush and profiled finishing of edges. It is suitable for solid wood, plastics and veneer, making it a versatile solution for professional woodworking and finishing applications.

The powerful 1000 W universal motor provides a continuously adjustable no-load speed of 4000–25,000 rpm. This allows the routing speed to be matched precisely to the material and application, helping to achieve clean and controlled results.

The routing depth can be adjusted continuously using a threaded adjustment ring with a clearly readable 1/10 mm scale. The large, stable base provides reliable support and reduces the risk of tipping, which is particularly useful when machining narrow or angled edges.

For efficient dust extraction, the extraction adapter can be individually positioned according to the working situation. The support ring can also be removed when direct edge machining is required.

The integrated digital electronics provide soft start, constant speed under load, automatic idle-speed reduction and overload protection. A labyrinth seal protects the spindle and bearings from fine particles, dust and chips, helping to support long-term reliability.

The KF 1000 is also suitable for machining angled edges. For corner work, an insertable stop provides additional guidance, while the starting-ring brake helps prevent unwanted marks when working on sensitive materials.
