MAFELL SKS 130 lock case mortiser with 16 mm chain set in transport case

The MAFELL SKS 130 is a professional mobile lock case mortiser designed for accurately machining recesses for lock cases and security locks in wooden doors. Its compact, ergonomic construction makes it particularly suitable for work directly on installed doors, while its robust design also makes it suitable for workshop applications.

The powerful 1600 W universal motor allows the SKS 130 to produce clean and precise lock case recesses up to 130 mm deep. Two counter-rotating special milling chains work together to ensure tear-out-free machining and optimum chip flow.

A 78 mm long and 16 mm wide recess can be produced with a single plunge. Wider or longer recesses can be machined with millimetre accuracy by simply repositioning the SKS 130. The machine supports milling widths of 14, 16 and 18 mm, allowing it to be adapted to different lock case requirements.

The large-area clamping system securely fixes the machine to the door. Its Pertinax/rubber surface protects the door finish while providing reliable support during machining. Two clearly defined stop systems allow accurate positioning on doors both with and without a rebate.

The SKS 130 is therefore particularly suitable for professional door installation and renovation work where lock case recesses need to be produced quickly, accurately and with minimal tearing. The milling guide rails are maintenance-free and do not require regreasing.
