MAFELL SKS 130 lock case mortiser with 14 mm chain set in transport case

The MAFELL SKS 130 is a professional mobile lock case mortiser designed for precise installation of lock cases and security locks in wooden doors. Its compact construction makes it particularly suitable for work directly on installed doors, while its robust design also makes it practical for workshop use.

With its powerful 1600 W universal motor, the SKS 130 produces clean and accurate recesses with a mortising depth of up to 130 mm. Two counter-rotating special milling chains work together to minimize tearing and ensure efficient chip removal during the machining process.

The machine can produce a 78 mm long and 16 mm wide recess with a single plunge. Wider or longer lock case recesses can be produced accurately by simply repositioning the SKS 130. The available chain sets cover mortising widths of 14, 16 and 18 mm, allowing the machine to be adapted to different lock requirements.

The large-area clamping system holds the machine securely against the door. Its Pertinax/rubber surface protects the door finish while providing reliable support during machining. Two clearly defined stop systems allow precise positioning on doors both with and without a rebate.

The SKS 130 is therefore particularly suited to professional door installation and renovation work where accurate lock case recesses must be produced quickly and with minimal tear-out. The milling guides are maintenance-free and do not require regreasing.
