MAFELL SG 400 slotting device for LS 103 Ec chain mortiser

The MAFELL SG 400 is the ideal addition to the LS 103 Ec chain mortiser for machining large glued laminated beams, for example to insert connectors and steel plates.

The enormous slotting depth of up to 400 mm is ensured by the exact coordination between the slotting frame and the base machine. The sturdy, torsion-resistant guide frame provides accurately fitting slots.

The precise special chain guide and the milling depth stop guarantee that the dimension is maintained from the beginning to the end of the cut. The complete unit can also be tilted by 45° for angled slots.

The slot width is 6–17 mm with a 300 mm chain set and 10–17 mm with a 400 mm chain set, offering versatile application options. The device is suitable for solid wood and glued laminated timber.

Note: the LS 103 Ec chain mortiser and chain sets are not included and must be purchased separately.
