MAFELL LS 103/40 Ec chain mortiser with chain set 28 × 40 × 150 mm

The MAFELL LS 103/40 Ec is a professional chain mortiser for cutting deep mortises in solid wood and glued laminated timber. It is supplied complete with a 28 × 40 × 150 mm chain set, providing a mortising depth of up to 150 mm straight out of the box.

The extremely powerful 2500 W motor ensures high efficiency and significant time savings. At only 8.7 kg, the LS 103 Ec is a unique lightweight in its class – ideal for use on the construction site.

The tensioning system enables fast chain changes. Even re-tensioning the milling chain with the chain guard fitted is quick and easy. The long cross-stop holder with a large adjustment range allows work on large-dimension timbers.

The ergonomic handle and switch arrangement ensures safe, efficient and effortless work. The machine can also be used with 100 mm chain sets for a mortising depth of 100 mm.

For precise work in timber framing with 150 mm chain sets, the FG 150 guide frame is recommended. With the matching slotting frame (SG 230, SG 400 or SG 500), slots of up to 500 mm can be cut.
